Take me out to the ballgame!

Andy had been given his work Royals tickets but ended up last minute having to go to Iowa for work. Luke and I decided to make the trip to the K anyway and invited my nephew, Zachary. The tickets are great so we just could not pass them up even though it was a hot 1:10 game; I am 34 weeks pregnant and know I am going to have to carry the two year old at some point throughout the stadium. But you only live once, right?

Zach was great at helping me with Luke. Luke just adores him! We sat in our seats for about an inning before we had to get up to get some snacks and go to the kids area. We enjoyed the Little K. Zach hit some baseballs and did a great job of running the bases. He also did a great job of entertaining Luke on the playground and more. We headed back to our seats until the middle of the seventh inning. We drank four bottles of water, twizzlers, skittles and some funnel cake. We left early but the Royals won! It was a fun time!

Zach came back to our house to wait on his mom. Luke loved every minute of it! He showed his cousin all his toys and his new room. They played hard! Luke was teaching him all kinds of new things. Brenda joined us and we had Zarda BBQ for dinner. Luke was cashed out before we even made it back home. My feet are a little swollen from our day but it was worth it! It was a great day of baseball with two cute boys!
